Stardust Power signs non-binding lithium supply deal with Charge CCCV
Stardust Power signs non-binding lithium supply deal with Charge CCCV Aug 5 (Reuters) - Stardust Power SDST.O said on Wednesday it signed a non-binding letter of intent with Charge CCCV to supply battery-grade material from its planned lithium refinery in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Stardust expects to sell 3,000 metric tons of lithium carbonate in 2028, 10,000 metric tons in 2029 and 20,000 metric tons in 2030 to the battery technology company.
The deal comes as the U.S. races to secure domestic sources of lithium, a critical component for electric vehicle batteries, amid growing concerns over reliance on imports from China and other countries.
Stardust in 2025 had revealed it had entered into a non-binding arrangement with Sumitomo Corporation of Americas to sell up to 25,000 metric tons of lithium annually for 10 years, with a possible five-year extension.
The refiner said the agreements, if finalized, could cover a large share of its planned lithium production and could generate billions of dollars in sales if lithium prices remain at current levels.
