India's MMTC slips after weak quarterly performance

** Shares of the state-run trading company  MMTC.NS  slip
6.3% to 17.85 rupees, lowest since Oct. 27
    ** Co reported a 26% drop in quarterly profit on Wednesday

    ** Quarterly revenue from ops slipped over 15%, the New
Delhi-based company said
    ** Shares of industry peer State Trading Corporation of
India  STCI.NS , which also imports gold, silver, emeralds,
rubies and other semi-precious stones, down 5%
    ** MMTC sees worst session in six weeks
    ** As of last close, stock down 38.35% this year
