** Shares of Stavely Minerals SVY.AX jumps as much as 64.3% to A$0.023, posting its biggest intraday pct gain since September 26, 2019

** Stock hits its highest level since January 16

** Mineral explorer says assay results intersected thick zone of high-grade gold mineralisation at at Fairview South, within the Stavely Copper-Gold Project in western Victoria

** About 11.6 mln shares change hands, more than 10x the 30-day avg

** SVY last up 28.6%
