    ** Stock last up 16.7%, sees best day since Aug 3, if gains
hold
    ** Specialty miner says drilling results confirmed presence
of multiple metal ores at onshore mine
    ** 5.8 mln shares change hands, 10x the 30-day average
volume of 582,365 shares
    ** Stock down 7.7% this year, as of last close
