** Shares of pooled development fund co Strategic Elements
Ltd  SOR.AX  rise as much as 62.1% to A$0.235, their highest
since Feb. 11
    ** Stock could log its best day since Oct. 27, 2020, if
gains hold
    ** SOR says its unit, AAM, and research partner University
of New South Wales significantly improved the ability to convert

    ** Co says its battery technology demonstrated potential to
increase electrical charge capacity from milliamp-hours to
ampere-hours
    ** Adds that it commenced development of multiple technology
breakthroughs to harvest ampere-hour electrical charge; results
intended for Q3
    ** More than 9.8 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of about 608,000 shares 
    ** Stock down 46.3% this year, as of last close
