Australia's Strategic Elements up on moisture battery development success

** Shares of Strategic Elements Ltd  SOR.AX  rise as much as
42.2% to A$0.16, hits highest level since Nov 16
    ** Stock on track for best day since May 11, if gains hold
    ** The pooled development fund says Energy Ink battery, a
power source that generates electrical energy from moisture in
the air, generated over 200% more energy than required to power
a glucose-monitoring skin patch
    ** Adds that designing and fabrication of load simulators
proved to have increased the data available to the team as it
looks to form a future databank for discussions with
manufactures    
    ** More than 4.1 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of about 408,000 shares 
    ** Stock has fallen 58.3% this year, as of last close
