** Shares of Strickland Metals Ltd  STK.AX  rise as much as
17.8% to A$0.053, their highest level since Dec 2, 2022
    ** Mineral explorer enters binding asset sale agreement with
gold miner Northern Star Resources Ltd  NST.AX  
    ** Says agreement is for the sale of Strickland's Millrose
project in Western Australia to Northern Star Resources 
    ** Says total consideration for sale is A$61 mln ($40.75
mln)
    ** About 11.7 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average trading volume of 1.9 mln shares 
    ** Shares up 12.5% YTD, as of last close
