Aug 29(Reuters) - Sumitomo Rubber Industries Ltd 5110.T
* Says it will merge with Dunlop Sports Co Ltd 7825.T ,
effective Jan. 1, 2018 and Dunlop Sports will be dissolved after
the merger, and will be delisted from Tokyo Stock Exchange first
section on Dec. 27
* Says Dunlop Sports will transfer entire shares in a
Kobe-based firm, which is a JV of the two companies, transaction
date on Dec. 28
* Says the company will merge with the JV, effective Jan. 1,
2018, and the JV will be dissolved after the merger
