Sunplus Announced Annual General Meeting 2016
BOD Proposed NT$0.89 Cash Dividend per Share
Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, March 23th, 2016- Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd. (TAIEX: 2401, LSE: SUPD) today held the meeting of the Board of Directors, at which the board adopted a proposal recommending distribution of NT$0.89 cash dividend per common share. According to this proposal, GDR holders will get NT$1.78 cash dividend per GDR share for each GDR share represents 2 common Sunplus shares. The proposal will be discussed and voted at the company's annual shareholders' meeting scheduled on June 13th, 2016.
The 2016 Sunplus annual shareholders' meeting will be held in Newton Hall of Science Park Life Hub, No.1, Industrial East Road 2, Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan at 9:00 AM, on June 13th, 2016. The shareholders' register shall be closed for registration of transfer during April 15 to June 13, 2016. Shareholders who like to conduct the proposal shall send the motions and nomination to Sunplus from April 8th till 5:00p.m.on April 18th, 2016.
