48.5%, highest level since July 23, 2014 
    ** STM says drilling at its new Alba target within its
Bramaderos project in southern Ecuador has hit 2.3 g/t (grams

    ** Says drilling results justify co's systematic approach to
testing multiple targets
    ** Says intersection at Alba is an "exceptional" result
which co will follow-up immediately 
    ** Stock posts its biggest intra-day percentage gain since

    ** More than 125 mln shares have changed hands, nearly three
times their 30-day average 
    ** STM more than quadruples in value so far this year, as of
last close
