Australia's Super Retail hits record high after strong start to FY26

** Shares of Super Retail Group  SUL.AX rise as much as 22.2% to hit a record high of A$20.2; last up 14.3%

** Retail group among the top gainers in the benchmark index .AXJO

** Co posts total sales growth of 5% for the first seven weeks of FY26

** Posts 4.5% rise in FY25 group sales, although statutory NPAT falls 8%

** Declares final dividend of 34 Australian cents per share, lower than 37 AU cents per share declared last year

** Declares special dividend of 30 AU cents per share

** Stock up ~24% this year, including the day's move
