** Shares of Surefire Resources  SRN.AX  rise as much as
26.3% to A$0.012, hitting their highest level since Nov. 6
    ** Stock currently up 15.8%, on track for best day since
March 7 if gains hold
    ** Diversified miner says favourable results obtained from
onshore vanadium project in Western Australia
    ** Co commenced discussions with interested Saudi companies
as part of the processing operation for the mined ores in Saudi
Arabia
    ** More than 38.0 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of 5.7 mln shares
    ** Including session's gains, stock cuts YTD loss to 8.3%
from 20.8% at last close
