The Company hereby announces that, on 9 September 2016, 1,260,700 ordinary shares of USD0.01 each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") were repurchased at 8.496 pence per Ordinary Share, for transfer into treasury to satisfy future management awards.
Following this transaction, the Company's issues share capital will be 297,981,896 Ordinary Shares, of which a total of 7,942,143 Ordinary Shares are held in treasury. Therefore the total number of Ordinary Shares with voting rights in Sylvania is 290,039,753 Ordinary Shares.
