On 27 June 2018 employees exercised 280,000 Ordinary Shares of US$0.01 each.  The Board of Directors simultaneously agreed to buy back the Ordinary Shares from the recipients at the 30-day VWAP price of 17.49 pence per Ordinary Share.  The shares will be placed back into treasury.
 
Following this transaction, the Company's issued share capital will be 291,133,661 Ordinary Shares, of which a total of 4,835,831 Ordinary Shares are held in treasury.  Therefore, the total number of Ordinary Shares with voting rights in Sylvania is 286,297,830 Ordinary Shares.
