Update on preliminary results
 
Symphony Environmental Technologies Plc (AIM: SYM), a global specialist in technologies to enhance the properties of plastic and some non-plastic products by making them biodegradable and/or to provide protection against  threats to health and safety, announces that its preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2019 ("FY19") will now be announced during May 2020. This short delay is due to slower, as well as additional, internal and external administrative processes caused by Covid19. However, the Board continues to expect the Group's FY19 results will be broadly in line with previous guidance to the market. 
As previously stated in the Company's trading update on 6 April 2020, the Board remains confident that the Group is in a strong financial position and is, with its suite of highly relevant technologies, well placed in the current environment.
