New Zealand's Synlait Milk soars as company sees return to profitability in fiscal 2025

** Shares of Synlait Milk  SML.NZ  rise about 21% to
NZ$0.51, their highest level since Aug. 21
    ** Dairy producer expects to report earnings before
interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) between
NZ$58 mln ($32.92 mln) and NZ$63 mln for the six months ending
January.
    ** Stock rose as much as 26.2% earlier in the day, marking
its biggest intraday gain since Aug. 21
    ** Including the session's moves, stock up 17.2% this year
