Nov 3 (Reuters) - The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq rose on Tuesday on a further drop in crude oil prices ahead of US midterm election results, while Apple joined the list of Big Tech companies whose earnings failed to impress investors..N
     
At 10:30 EST, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 0.53% at 51,710.97. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.36% at 7,568.45, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.78% at 25,361.73.
