** Tamawood TWD.AX shares rise as much as 5.5% to A$2.87, their highest level since January 7

** Marks steepest intraday rise since December 17, 2025

** Home builder posts half-year profit attributable to A$4.9 million ($3.49 million), up 46% pcp

** Revenue from ordinary activities in the reporting period was A$66.4 million, up 36.9% pcp

** About 50,000 shares traded so far, 8.3x the 30-day avg

** Stock is up more than 1.4% YTD, including the session's moves
