Australia's Tanami Gold hits over 4-mth high after approving JV budget

** Shares of Australia's Tanami Gold NL  TAM.AX  rise as
much as 16.2% to A$0.043, hitting highest since Feb.8 
    ** Stock eyes best day since June 15, if current gains hold 
 
    ** Gold exploration co approves A$15 mln ($10.07 mln) budget
for exploration and associated activities on the Central Tanami
Project, in Northern Territory, Australia for FY-2024  
    ** The Central Tanami Project is a joint venture between co
and Northern Star Resources  NST.AX  
    ** Adds exploration budget includes provision for diamond
core, reverse circulation and air core drilling directed at a
series of targets throughout the project
    ** Stock has fallen 2.6% this year, as of last close
