U.S. stock indexes were mixed on Tuesday as financial shares rose and megacap
growth stocks slid, with investors bracing for a big interest rate hike by the
Federal Reserve this week to tame surging prices. .N 
    
    At 13:39 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.59% at
33,255.4. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.82% at 4,189.37 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 0.54% at 12,604.068.
