The benchmark BSE Sensex .BSESN was little changed at 76,734, while the broader NSE Nifty 50 .NSEI was steady at 23,951, as losses in information technology stocks offset gains in the auto index, led by heavyweights Maruti Suzuki India and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles. .BO
RUPEE:
The Indian rupee INR=IN was down 0.11% versus the U.S. dollar at 94.64, but remained on course to log a quarter-on-quarter gain, its first since March 2025, as a sharp retreat in oil prices and a salvo of policy measures to draw dollar inflows snapped a spell of decline. INR/
GOVERNMENT BONDS:
The benchmark 10-year bond IN069436G=CC was quoted at 101.595 rupees, with the yield down nearly 4 basis points at 6.7452%, as traders stepped up buying after the benchmark yield broke below a key psychological level amid firm foreign investor demand. IN/
OVERNIGHT INDEX SWAPS:
The one-year overnight index swap rate INR1YMIBROIS=CC fell 4.5 bps to 5.73%, while the five-year swap rate INR5YMIBROIS=CC was down 2.5 bps at 6.1650%.
CALL MONEY:
India's overnight call money rate INROND= was at 5.40%, and the overnight TREPS rate INTREPTOT=TCCL was at 5.39%.
