Tavistock Investments Plc (AIM: TAVI), is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Dornan to the Company's Board as a non-executive director with immediate effect. The appointment coincides with the resignation of Phil Young, who is stepping down from the Board as a non-executive director in order to pursue other business interests.
Peter has held a number of senior roles within Scottish Equitable, and its owner AEGON. These included 12 years as a member of Aegon's UK Executive Management Board.
Since 2012, Peter has acted as a consultant to a number of businesses within the financial services sector with a particular emphasis on governance, risk management and financial controls.
Peter will also serve as a member of the Company's Audit Committee and its Remuneration Committee.
Brian Raven, Chief Executive of Tavistock, said "Peter has accumulated a great deal of industry knowledge and experience and we are delighted to welcome him to the Board.
