Nov 5 (Reuters) - French telecoms-to-construction conglomerate Bouygues BOUY.PA said on Thursday it expected a slight rise in its full-year current operating profit after a strong nine-month performance, having previously aimed to maintain last year's high level.
However, its net profit fell by more than half to €306 million ($345 million) in the first nine months of 2026, mainly because of a €569 million non-cash impairment on its TF1 TFFP.PA stake, which Bouygues said did not affect its cash position or investment capacity.
Nine-month group sales came in at €41.6 billion, stable at constant exchange rates
Current operating profit from activities rose €44 million from a year ago to €1.86 billion
Energy unit Equans’ margin from activities reached 5.5%, and its full-year target was raised to at least 5.5%
TF1 and Bouygues Telecom profits are expected to decline this year
Bouygues said it had reduced net debt by €2 billion year-on-year to €5.6 billion
($1 = 0.8880 euros)
