Telia's Q3 core profit beats expectations, raises 2024 profit outlook (updated)

       Oct 24 (Reuters) - Swedish telecom operator Telia
 TELIA.ST  reported on Thursday third-quarter adjusted core
earnings above market expectations and raised its profit outlook
for 2024.
        Adjusted operating profit before depreciation and
amortisation edged up to 8.48 billion crowns ($801 million) from
a year-earlier 8.47 billion. Analysts had on average forecast a
decline to 8.39 billion crowns, according to a poll provided by
Telia.
