Turkey fund board advances capital markets law changes amid fund crisis ANKARA, Oct 2 (Reuters) - Turkey's Fund Board said on Friday work had been carried out on draft amendments to the Capital Markets Law and relevant institutions had been instructed to finalise the proposed changes as part of efforts to address turmoil in part of the country's fund market.
The board, chaired by Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz, also discussed the rules and a timetable for payments linked to decisions taken by the Capital Markets Board on Wednesday, according to the statement issued by Turkey's communications directorate.
It said the planned regulations should not impose any additional burden on citizens.
