Wall Street's main indexes were subdued on Monday, in a quiet start to a week packed with corporate earnings reports from major retailers and the Federal Reserve's annual symposium in Jackson Hole. .N

At 11:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 0.05% at 44,925.71. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 0.10% at 6,443.09, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 0.20% at 21,580.50.
