** Shares of Texmaco Rail & Engineering TEXA.NS rise as much as 3.3% to 141.42 rupees apiece; last up 2%

** TEXA wins order worth 338.9 million rupees ($3.86 million) from Central Railway to design, manufacture, supply, test and commission transformers in the Beed-Parli section of the Ahmadnagar-Beed-Parli line

** TEXA also secures order from Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation worth 446.1 million rupees for Pune Metro Rail project

** Trading volume is 889,713 shares, as of 9:37 a.m. IST, almost matching 30-day average in first hour of trade - data compiled by LSEG

** YTD, TEXA down nearly 30% vs 4.5% drop in Nifty Microcap 250 index .NIFTYMICROCAP250, exchange data shows
