** Thirumalai Chemicals THRM.NS falls 3.5% to 217 rupees

** Commodity chemicals maker says subsidiary facing longer-than-expected outage at its Maleic Anhydride unit due to machinery failure

** Outage expected to reduce consolidated revenue by ~23.5 bln rupees ($260.5 million) annually; unit accounted for 9.6% of FY25 consolidated revenue

** Co reports estimated revenue loss of 11.8 billion rupees in H1 FY26; derivatives plant operations continue

** YTD, THRM falls 32%
