Wall Street gained on Wednesday, with the benchmark S&P 500 scaling a new record
high, as investors took stock of major corporate earnings and assessed remarks
from policymakers for more clues on the outlook for interest rate cuts. .N
At 13:32 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.55% at
38,734.92. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.85% at 4,996.58 and the Nasdaq Composite
.IXIC was up 0.94% at 15,755.198.
