Wall Street gained on Wednesday, with the benchmark S&P 500 scaling a new record
high, as investors took stock of major corporate earnings and monitored remarks
from policymakers for more clues on interest-rate cut outlook. .N

38,696.11. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.74% at 4,990.83 and the Nasdaq Composite
.IXIC was up 0.86% at 15,743.259.
