** Shares of Australia's Tlou Energy  TOU.AX  rise as much
as 11.5% to A$0.029, their highest since Sept 23
    ** The solar power generation co announces A$2 mln ($1.26
mln) placement  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nASX3rgpRP
    ** Says placement at an issue price of A$0.035 per share;
which is at a premium of 34.6% to co's last close
    ** Says funds are proposed to be used for development of
co's Lesedi power project in Botswana
    ** Tlou stock down 52.7% this year, as of last close
    ($1 = 1.5903 Australian dollars)
