Feb 27 (Reuters) - Tokai Holdings Corp   3167.T :  
     
     
    * Says the co plans to acquire 25.8 percent stake in 
Tokyo-based firm, which is engaged in CATV business, via private 
placement of treasury stock to an individual 
    * Says the co will distribute 840,700 shares of its treasury 
common stock at 751 yen per share through private placement to 
the individual shareholder of the CATV firm  
    * Says the acquisition price at 631 million yen 
    * Says effective March 15
