** Shares in Norwegian sustainable technology company Tomra
Systems TOM.OL fall 4.5% with local analysts pointing to a
delay in implementing a deposit return scheme for single-use
drinks containers in Scotland
** The scheme, which was due to be launched in August, will
now come into effect in March next year, First Minister Humza
Yousaf said in his speech on April 18
** Tomra said in its annual report published in March 2023
it considered Scotland as a potential new market
** The group pointed out in the report that implementation
of new deposit systems is a fundamental driver for growth in
Collection, a division which generated 51% of the company's
revenue in 2022
** The stock is among worst performers on pan-European index
STOXX 600 .STOXX , on track for its worst day since Dec 2022
