Japan Post to buy Tonami Holdings for about $535 million, Nikkei says

TOKYO, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Japan Post Co will acquire logistics company Tonami Holdings 9070.T for about 80 billion yen ($535 million), the Nikkei business daily said on Wednesday. The unit of Japan Post Holdings 6178.T will set up a special-purpose company with Tonami's founding family and management, which will launch a tender offer to take the target private, while Tonami's management stays on, the paper added.
