** Amid a diplomatic row over a U.S. anti-missile system
deployed in South Korea, China banned group tours to Korea in
March 2017 which hurt Seoul's retail and service sectors
** Even though Ctrip pulled the tours from its website, the
agency proved it has prepared to resume group tours to South
Korea and I think it will be resumed in the near future, says
Park Jong-dae, an analyst at Hana Financial Investment
** Cosmetic shares, including Cosmax 192820.KS and
Tonymoly 214420.KS , leap 13 pct and 12.2 pct, respectively
** Hotel Shilla 008770.KS soars more than 10 pct while
Shinsegae 004170.KS gains over 8 pct
