S.Korean shares with China exposure jump on hopes of resumed tours

** South Korea's cosmetic and duty-free shares with China
exposure jump on media reports that Chinese online travel agency
Ctrip had resumed sales of group tours to South Korea, even
though those packages were later removed from the company's
website urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nL4N1XP48K
    ** Amid a diplomatic row over a U.S. anti-missile system
deployed in South Korea, China banned group tours to Korea in
March 2017 which hurt Seoul's retail and service sectors
** Even though Ctrip pulled the tours from its website, the
agency proved it has prepared to resume group tours to South
Korea and I think it will be resumed in the near future, says
Park Jong-dae, an analyst at Hana Financial Investment
** Cosmetic shares, including Cosmax 192820.KS and
Tonymoly 214420.KS , leap 13 pct and 12.2 pct, respectively
** Hotel Shilla 008770.KS soars more than 10 pct while
Shinsegae 004170.KS gains over 8 pct
** The broader KOSPI market .KS11 was trading steady
