Japan's Toridoll-backed restaurant chain Tam Jai falls in Hong Kong debut

** Shares of Hong Kong noodle specialty restaurants chain 
Tam Jai International Co Ltd  2217.HK  trade as low as HK$2.98
on trading debut on Thursday, down 10.5% from offer price
    ** Stock of Tam Jai, a spin-off from Toridoll Holdings Corp
 3397.T , last down 6.6% from offer price of HK$3.33 apiece; the
seventh most actively traded by turnover in early trade
    ** Tam Jai, which operates 156 restaurants in Hong Kong,
China and Singapore, sold 335 mln shares in Hong Kong IPO,
raising HK$1.1 bln ($141 mln) to expand network and central
kitchen in existing markets and for expanding into new

    ** Shares of Toridoll  3397.T  drop 3.2% 
    ** The Hang Seng consumer goods and services index  .HSCGSI 
rises 1.3% and the Hang Seng Composite Index  .HSCI  surges 1.9%
    ** The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index  .HSCE  jumps 2.4%
and the benchmark index  .HSI  is up 2%
