TOKYO, Feb 17 (Reuters) - Japan's Tosoh Corp 4042.T said
on Wednesday it is working to return the run rate of its 527,000
tonnes per year naphtha cracker in Yokkaichi, central Japan, to
normal this week after reducing runs due to a problem.
The run rate has been lowered gradually to an undisclosed
level since the end of last week due to the problem with a
benzene, toluene and xylene (BTX) plant, a company spokesman
said.
The company will conduct scheduled maintenance on the
cracker from early March to mid-April, he added. Previously, it
was believed that the maintenance would start from mid-March.
