Japan extends anti-dumping duties on battery material imports from China

TOKYO, Feb 20 (Reuters) - Japan will extend its
anti-dumping duties on battery material electrolytic manganese
dioxide from China for another five years to February 2029, the
finance ministry said on Tuesday.
The duties of up to 46.5%, in place since 2008, are extended
following a government review upon request by Japanese chemicals
maker Tosoh Corp 4042.T and its domestic subsidiary, the
ministry said in a statement.
