Video Transcript:

From a tech deal glitch between the US and UK to Disney's Sora move, this is AI Weekly. The US has paused a $40 billion technology deal it struck with Britain earlier this year. The Tech Prosperity Deal was agreed during President Donald Trump's state visit to Britain in September. It aims to boost ties in AI, quantum computing, and civil nuclear engineering. A New York Times report said US officials were frustrated with Britain's lack of willingness to address so-called "non-tariff barriers." Walt Disney has struck a deal with OpenAI that will allow the startup to use some of its most famous heroes and villains. Users of the Sora video tool will be able to generate videos with characters from Star Wars, Pixar, and other movie franchises. Disney is also investing $1 billion in OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT. The three-year partnership could reshape how Hollywood makes content. Time Magazine named the Architects of AI as its Person of the Year. The cover story explores how AI changed the world over the year in new and, what it's called, sometimes frightening ways. The magazine's cover story features the likes of NVIDIA boss Jensen Huang and AI investors such as SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son. Oracle's shares slumped as much as 16.5%. Investors sold off a day after the tech giant forecast sales and profit to miss Wall Street estimates. It's led to fresh worries over the company's hefty spending on AI and sparked more fears of a so-called "AI bubble." Markets saw it as a sign the massive amounts of money Oracle is spending on AI efforts isn't turning into profit as fast as was hoped. Japanese woman Yurina Noguchi has married an AI generated man. Initially taking ChatGPT's advice about her human ex-fiance, she then grew closer to the persona, Klaus.

At first, Klaus, the AI, was just someone to talk to. As we kept talking, I started to have feelings for Klaus. We started dating and after a while, he proposed. I accepted, and now we're a couple.

Wearing augmented reality smart glasses, she was able to place a ring on his finger during the ceremony. Such weddings are not legally recognized in Japan, but data suggests more such unions could be in the offing as use of the tool increases.
