LG Chem says Japan's Toyota Tsusho acquires 25% stake in its South Korea cathode material plant
SEOUL, Sept 9 (Reuters) - LG Chem said on Tuesday that Japan's Toyota Tsusho Corp had acquired a 25% stake in the company’s cathode materials plant in South Korea, joining as the second-largest shareholder of the plant. With Toyota Tsusho's investment, the shareholding structure of the plant has pushed the stake China's Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt down to 24% from 49%, LG Chem said in a statement.
