    Deaths from the COVID-19 epidemic in Italy climbed by 55 on
Tuesday, against 60 the day before, the Civil Protection Agency
said, while the daily tally of new cases rose to 318 from 178 on

    IHS Markit releases May service Pmi data (0745 GMT).

    The Treasury said on Tuesday it had hired banks to manage
the sale of a new 10-year benchmark government bond in a
syndicated deal. The transaction is expected "to be launched in
the near future, subject to market conditions", it said.
