    * Says its wholly owned Shanghai-based unit plans to set up 
a JV 
TSUMURA SHENGSHI PHARMACEUTICALS CO., LTD with a Tianjin-based 
crude drug firm  
    * Says the JV will be established in January 2018 and will 
be 
capitalized at 400 million yuan (about 6.76 billion yen) 
    * Says its unit will hold a 70 percent stake in the JV
