The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq hit record highs on Friday as Federal Reserve Chair
Jerome Powell signaled the U.S. central bank will remain patient as it tries to
nurse the economy back to full employment. .N 
    At 12:48 p.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.68% at
35,453.56. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.83% at 4,507.21 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 1.10% at 15,110.158.
