Redemption of 2024 ZDP Shares

 

UIL Finance Limited (the "Company") announces that redemption proceeds will be
paid to holders of the Company's zero dividend preference shares of 3.8025p
each due for redemption on 31 October 2024 ("2024 ZDP Shares") whose names
appear on the register as at the close of business on Tuesday 29 October 2024
(the "Record Date") and settlement of the redemption monies will occur on
Thursday 31 October 2024 (the "Redemption Date").

 

The capital repayment amount for the 2024 ZDP Shares is 138.35p per share.

 

For 2024 ZDP Shares held in uncertificated form, CREST accounts will be
credited with the redemption monies on the Redemption Date.  For 2024 ZDP
Shares held in certificated form, redemption monies will be paid on the
Redemption Date in accordance with any bank mandate held by the Company's
registrars or otherwise be sent by cheque to the address recorded in the
Company's ZDP share register by first class post.
