DEBT
The Treasury said on Thursday it would offer up to 4.75
billion euros in short-term and inflation-linked BTPs at auction
on September 26.
Treasury announces sale of 6-month BOT bills, with relative
amounts to be auctioned on Sept. 27.
COMPANIES
TELECOM ITALIA (TIM) TLIT.MI
The phone group said on Thursday it has successfully
completed a 750-million-euro tap issue of the bond issued in
July, through a private placement.
According to legal opinions due to be presented soon to the
board, the phone group does not need to hold a shareholders'
meeting to approve the sale of its landline grid, a source close
to the matter told Reuters.
Two other sources close to the matter said three other legal
opinions requested by top shareholder Vivendi VIV.PA say that
the sale needs to be approved by an extraordinary shareholders'
meeting, giving Vivendi the chance to block the deal.
SNAM SRG.MI , ITALGAS IG.MI
The gas grid operator said on Thursday it started offering a
500-million-euro ($533.15 million) five-year senior unsecured
bond, a EU-taxonomy-aligned transition operation that will be
exchangeable for existing Italgas ordinary shares.

Auditors at KPMG said on Thursday there was significant
uncertainty about the group's business continuity.
