** Videogame software maker Unity Software's U.N shares rise 7.6% to $23.69 premarket

** Co extends multi-year partnership with Meta Platforms META.O for its virtual reality platform

** The agreement will continue support for virtual reality developers to develop and deploy apps and games on Meta's platform

     ** U shares jumped more than 13% on 27 March after upbeat Q1 preliminary results

** Earlier this year, shares of videogame companies plunged after Alphabet's Google GOOGL.O rolled out its AI model for creating interactive digital worlds with simple prompts

** As of last close, U stock is down 50.2% YTD
