("URA" or the "Company")
Operational Update
URA Holdings (LSE: URAH), the gemstone mining company focused on the imminent
move into the production phase of the Gravelotte Emerald Mine ("GEM"), is
pleased to announce further progress for the planned restart of GEM.
In preparation for the commissioning and start of processing operations the
Company has now amassed an available stockpile of approximately 2,500 tonnes
of ore. The stockpile material was extracted from the nearby Cobra Pit and is
currently held outside the processing plant ready for processing. Additional
emerald bearing ore from the Discovery pit will be added to the stockpile feed
material over the coming weeks.
The installation of essential components of the optical sorter, including feed
bins, conveyor belts, compressors, and vibrating motors is underway, marking
substantial progress in the setup of the optical sorter infrastructure. In the
near future, Angelon's technicians from China will join GEM's team on-site
to supervise and kickstart the commissioning phase of the optical sorter, a
pivotal step in our journey towards production.
Bernard Olivier, CEO of URA, states: "Our team is making continued progress
towards the commissioning phase of both the processing plant and the optical
sorter. With a substantial ore stockpile ready for processing and the optical
sorter's components being systematically assembled, we remain on-track with
the commission and restart of mining and processing operations on schedule.
