BUZZ-Valneva falls as UK regulator revokes Ixchiq vaccine authorisation ** Shares in Valneva VLS.PA fall over 6% after the French drugmaker said that marketing authorisation for its chikungunya Ixchiq vaccine had been revoked in the United Kingdom
** The decision by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) was based on a review of previous safety data, and it is not associated with newly identified safety signal, Valneva said
** No Ixchiq product remains on the UK market, however minimal sales impact is expected, it added
** The company has decided not to appeal the MHRA decision
** Shares are on track for their worst day in five months
