Valneva jumps after deal to provide chikungunya vaccine

** Shares in Valneva VLS.PA jump around 7% after the French vaccine company said it will provide 40,000 doses of chikungunya shots in France's Island of La Réunion

** Broker Portzamparc estimates the contract is valued at 3.5 million euros

** They note that the ongoing outbreak on the island has elevated the IXCHIQ vaccine to "public utility" status

** Up to the previous session's close, shares were up 56.6%​ YTD
