** Shares of Vanadium Resources VR8.AX fall 7.3% to A$0.038, on track for worst day since July 10, if trend continues

** The vanadium producer raises A$1.2 million ($790,200) at an issue price of A$0.033 per share

** Issue price represents a discount of 19.5% to stock's last close on July 22, after which shares went on a trading halt

** About 7.1 million shares change hands, 3.4x the 30-day average of 2.1 million

** Stock up 19.4% YTD, including moves in current session
